You must have:
A valid, government-issued photo ID
The document fully filled out but NOT signed
All signers present (in-person) or ready online (RON)
Any witnesses required by the document (ask me if you're unsure)

Acceptable IDs generally include:
State-issued driver’s license or ID
U.S. passport
U.S. military ID
Green card or other government-issued photo ID
Foreign passport (must be current)
If your signer doesn’t have ID, ask about credible witness options (in person only).

Yes, as long as the signer fully understands the document in their own language and can communicate directly with me.
RON signings must be in English unless the platform allows otherwise. -
Yes — as long as they are alert, coherent, and willing.
If capacity is unclear, I must refuse the notarization.
